| Series 8079 connector is a board-to-board connector for power supply, which compliant with PICMG EXP.0, a general hardware standards. It is possible to supply a large volumetric power supply from the back plane to each system card efficiently. The mating height between boards is the same as Series 8071 Hard Metric connector (compliant with IEC61076-4-101), so it fits to boards connected in parallel by Series 8071, and is well suitable for communication equipment and multipurpose controllers. Press-fit mounting type, so no need to be soldered.
