| Series 6882 FPC/FFC connector has contacts with proprietary-adjusted impedance, it is capable of the maximum speed of 3.75Gbps defined by V-by-One®HS* that is one of the next-generation interface for flat-screen TVs. It is ready for not only FPCs but also shielded and impedance-adjusted FFCs.
Improvement in the differential impedance characteristics supports high-speed differential transmission in the connection in drivers such as DVD players and recorders and car navigation systems as well as flat-screen TVs. |

Displacement in alignment of contacting points and FPC conductors caused by aslant insertion of FPC/FFC is prevented with the combination of the metal locking device and a notched FPC/FFC, which realizes the robust structure that is tolerant of tensile strength and achieves the secure connection. Also the workability improves in your production line because an FPC/FFC can be held (temporarily) in the connector before the actuator closed and locked. |

The back-flip lock type is adopted, in which the actuator is located on the opposite side of the FPC/FFC entry slot, by which the closed and locked actuator is highly resistant to an external stress caused when the FPC/FFC is laid out. |

Exclusive contacts for connection of signals and groundings (GND) achieve highly accurate impedance match. The array of contacts is arranged for suiting to a pattern layout on your printed circuit board.
