Series 9608 / 9609 connectors are for LED light and LED backlight, which achieved 1.4mm of the industry-lowest* mating height so that the connectors would not hamper distribution of luminous intensity practically.
-Series 9608-
Three types, “JOINT (relay) type” connects modularized boards, “JUMPER (short-circuiting) type” supports a loop in an electrical circuit at the end of the circuit, and “Wire to Board type” is for connection to a power supply unit, are available.
-Series 9609-
This is a space saving type connector that could be mounted on a slim board derived from the weight saving of lighting fixtures. Two types, “JOINT (relay) type” connects modularized boards and “Wire to Board type” is for connection to a power supply unit, are available.

The connector used around LEDs is designed so that they would not hamper distribution of luminous intensity, while achieving 1.4mm of the mating height, the lowest* in the industry. |

Plug connectors mounted on printed circuit boards are of the same shape in all types, which contributes the workability in the mounting process. Mating directions are well considered for their purpose; connectors of JOINT and JUMPER types are mated vertically, and the ones of Wire to Board type are horizontally. |

The floating structure is adopted in JOINT type, that absorbs misalignment of ±0.1mm on the long side of respective connectors (±0.1mm in total between the connected boards) to improve the contact reliability. |
