Series 6251 / 6801 connector is mainly best suitable for in-vehicle units like car-navigation system units, GPS units, and car audio products, medical or industrial equipment, OA equipment like complex machines and AV equipment like flat TVs for which high contact reliability is required under harsh environments regarding vibration, temperature, humidity, or etc.

When an FPC/FFC is inserted, it is locked in the connector by turning upward the tab at the center of the actuator serving both as the space for vacuuming area and locking operating portion. The FPC/FFC is released by turning downward the tabs on both side ends to unlock and open the actuator. With these simple operations, the workability is improved. The nice clicking feeling due to the secure locked-condition of the FPC/FFC is obtained. |

Applicable to 0.3±0.05mm-thick general-purpose FPCs/FFCs. Using with eared FPCs/FFCs prevents improper mating, enables secure connection, and increases the force to hold an FPC/FFC. FPCs/FFCs in common with our existing Series 6288 right-angled and 6801 vertical connectors are usable. |
