Series 8095 Power Module Connector

 |
Outline |
 |
| Series 8095 is a board-to-board connector for power supply, which was developed to meet the marketing needs for large current and miniaturization simultaneously. It enables to carry a large current of 25A/contact and the power is supplied from a backboard to each system card efficiently.
Connectors of this Series are mounted on a board in line with Series 8071 HM connectors, which is well suited for Server, Factory Automation equipment, and so on. The mounting method is a press-fit type that requirs no soldering.

Features |
 |
| 1. |
The contacting part is made of highly electrically conductive copper alloy. And the structure of multiple contacting-point, four points, is adopted, which enables to conduct large current of electricity, 25A/contact. |
| 2. |
The connector was designed so that the height is compatible with our existing Hard Metric Connector for signal "Series 8071" (compliant with IEC61076-4-101), which enables for 8095 and 8071 connectors to be mounted together on a board in line, by which a large current of power is supplied efficiently in a compact structure. |
| 3. |
The press-fit type contacts need no soldering when mounted on a board, and so it is easy for the connector to be mounted on a board. |
| 4. |
The new type that connects boards in parallel is now available, which contributes to unrestricted board-layout designed by customers. |
| 5. |
