ELCO'S DIN connectors conform to German industrial Standard DIN 41612, and with high reliability and efficiency in contact, they are increasingly accepted by users in Europe and other markets in addition to Germany. Featuring high-density, small force required for mating 2piece type, availability as 2 and 3-row types, with construction to ensure tight fit and perfect contact through smooth mounting on printed circuit boards. The DIN connectors are available in a variety of types which are DIN-B,C,Q and R expanded DIN-N (developed by ELCO), crimp type, IDC type, and coaxial cable/high current carrying type, offering largest choice for users.
Series 8272 consists of plugs and the 8345 receptacles only.
Both offered in 2 and 3-row type as well as Vertical and Right Angle types, with the number of contacts ranging from 20 to 100 for the 2-row type, and 32 to 96 for the 3-row type.
Contacts are of solder type, wire wrap type and press fit type, with a variety of tail lengths to accommodate a wide range of board thickness.
The receptacle of 8331 and 8332 are compatible with a plug 8272. |
