| The 5607 series is floating type board to board connector with 0.5mm pitch and a 10.0mm stacking height. It is designed for connections between module PCBs (on which USBs, memory cards, and so on are mounted) in Notebook-PC. |

Shielding measurement against EMC shows that the metal shells of both the plug and receptacle are definitely connected to the ground pattern via each metal tab.
The mounting boss integrated with the metal tab is fixed by means of dip reflow, which shuts out any influence of twisting and/or impact on leads. Thus excellent fixing strength and connection reliability are assured. |

The floating structure enables the boards to move ±0.2mm in the X and Y direction along the component side of the board, 0 to 1.00mm in the mating direction while connectors are mated. |

The bellows spring, for which the rolled plane of the spring material is used, is utilized for the spring structure of the contacts to obtain high contact reliability by achieving stable contact reliability with a wider movable range. |
